Your role as a Metrology Planner/Scheduler includes performing independently and in a team environment, under the guidance and direction of a group lead. The work includes a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities:

- Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor in-lab and in-place calibration service planning/scheduling with a variety of commands/customers.
- Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) submarine fleet in-lab and in-place calibration service planning/ scheduling.
- Provide customer planning/scheduling support daily and seek out customer feedback.
- Maintain the Calibration Data System for current and accurate information.
- Provide formal presentations and informal interactions with customers, including US Navy and civilian personnel, that serve to effectively coordinate the calibration program.
- Assign and monitor priority workload, ensuring timely work progress.
- Flexibility to support lab cross-functional groups including Business Operations, Metrology, and Quality Assurance.
- Assist in processing of calibrated equipment as required, including outside activity processing from commercial vendors and other government laboratories.
- Provide a high quality customer service experience.
- Comprehend and follow Department Procedures (DPs) and other organizationally generated documentation.
- Assist with the further improvement of the organization’s salaried employee training plan.
- Provide training in core skill areas to peers and customers, including fleet personnel.
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations.
- Support Continuous Improvement activities in the Lab that may include coordination with external organizations. Generate and develop new or revised processes to improve lab efficiency.
- Perform technical and non-technical special studies and projects as assigned.
- Participate in meetings/briefings.

Basic Qualifications:
Your success in this role will require the following:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, dealing with a wide array of diverse customers and situations.
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communications skills and the ability to develop rapport with multiple partners while supporting metrology operations.
• Demonstrated Procedural Compliance with the ability to comprehend and follow regulations and business operating procedures.
• Excellent computer skills in the Windows environment.
• Interim Security Clearance and US Citizenship required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship required and must not possess dual citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• BS or MS degree in a related field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
