Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.

A day in the life of an Aftermarket Product Engineer consists of working side-by-side with hourly and salaried ensuring compliance in repairing our products. Reviewing customer and product repair requirements, and proposing repair options to our customers are a critical daily focus. Candidates need to be strong in following technical documentation, understanding purchase order requirements, and efficient working with an ERP system. We embrace change, and encourage each other to learn from our failures to drive better and better solutions in the future. Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft products is a plus. Our Product Engineers can also support our manufacturing floor in building standardized work instructions, and leading Kaizen events and process walks. Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Associates Degree in Business Administration or Technical field.
Enter FAA mandated Anti-Drug Pool. Subject to random drug testing
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, utilizing root cause analysis
Ability to interpret technical specifications and/or documentations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
Preferred degrees: industrial engineering, engineering technology, and other degrees with a focus on administrative tasks.
Skills and experience utilizing Oracle, Windchill or Data Analysis software
General understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
Ability to interpret and apply specifications, standards, and customer requirements
Proficiency with MS Office Products

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
