Description: You will be the IT&E E&T Manager at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX, or Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, and you will play a key role in managing and developing a team of engineers to achieve these goals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IT&E E&T Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, providing technical coaching and mentoring, and supporting department initiatives and directorate undertakings. You will drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution by providing work assignments, employee career development, and continuous employee feedback. You will also be an advocate for your employees during opportunity discussions and coordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical coaching and mentoring to team members
• Assigning work and developing employee career plans
• Providing continuous employee feedback and performance assessments
• Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training
• Developing and facilitating salary planning and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Driving engineering competency development and supporting program development
• Executing development requirements and adhering to engineering development processes
• Promoting customer focus and serving as the technical conscience for programs

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
• Previous RF Field Test Planning and Execution experience
• Current or prior team leadership experience (technical or programmatic)
• Current or prior Engineering Management or Engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, and/or employee management and mentoring
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
- Current or prior field or flight test experience (subsystem or AUR)
- Current Control Account Manager (CAM) certification and experience
- Strong desire to positively influence the career trajectories of direct reports and to build future talent in the IT&E department

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
