What will I be doing?
The main purpose of the Safety & Reliability Engineer is to conduct analysis to demonstrate that Safran Landing Systems products (structures, extension/retraction systems, hydraulics, electrical harnesses) comply with regulatory safety requirements and comply with commercial reliability requirements. The Safety & Reliability Engineer works collaboratively with Systems Architects and the design team. They are responsible for creating Safety & Reliability plans and completing relevant analysis and documentation (FHA, CCA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA and FTA), in accordance with the systems development plan.

Job Requirements:

What do I need to succeed in the role?
•\tKnowledge of landing gear systems
•\tKnowledge of mechanical engineering and hydraulics
•\tKnowledge of systems and electrical engineering
•\tKnowledge of airworthiness requirements and certification
•\tKnowledge of systems engineering theory together with a familiarity with ARP4754 and ARP 4761
•\tKnowledge of requirements management, validation, verification and preferably DOORS
•\tAbility to write technical reports clearly and accurately
•\tAbility and willingness to communicate and work with all disciplines of engineering
•\tGood verbal and written communication skills and general computer literacy
