ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

We are looking for a visionary Senior Instructional Designer to revolutionize the training ecosystem for SITA’s Operations at Airports portfolio. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and high-impact learning. You will be integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into the end-to-end development process. You will partner with Product Managers and Solution Specialists to translate intricate airport operations—from baggage handling to ground services—into scalable, cutting-edge training that enables our Sales, Delivery, and Customer teams to excel.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Portfolio Instructional Design

• End-to-End Development: Design and develop high-fidelity eLearning, Virtual Instructor - Led Training, simulations, and job aids tailored to the Operations at Airports and other portfolios, based on business needs.
• Technical Translation: Translate complex product specs and "productization" updates into scenario-based, learner-centric content.
• Agile Alignment: Participate in product sprints and feature release meetings to ensure training is synchronized with the product roadmap.
• Facilitator Coaching: Support and upskill global facilitators to ensure the high-quality delivery of your designed programs.

2. AI-Driven Innovation & Efficiency

• GenAI Workflow Integration: Lead the implementation of LLMs and AI media tools like Synthesia, HeyGen, Midjourney to accelerate content creation, from rapid storyboarding to automated localization.
• Workflow Automation: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive ID tasks, including AI-generated voiceovers, video avatars, and automated assessment building.
• Personalized Learning: Use AI-driven analytics to identify learner skill gaps and design adaptive paths that meet individual needs in real-time.

3. Strategic Collaboration

• Stakeholder Management: Act as a consultant to Product Managers and Field Service teams to gather training requirements and define measurable learning objectives.
• Ethical Oversight: Ensure all GenAI-produced content remains ethically grounded, accurate, and aligned with SITA’s brand standards.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, preferably within a global B2B, System Integrator or tech environment.
• Proven Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating diverse samples, including AI-assisted content and technical product training.
• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instructional Design, Education, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• The AI-First Designer: You dont just "know" AI; you have a proven track record of using it to solve instructional challenges and reduce "time-to-spanet" for training.
• Aviation Enthusiast: You are curious about how airports work. Experience in the air transport industry or high-stakes IT systems is a massive plus.
• Agile & Adaptive: You thrive in "permanent beta." You can pivot quickly as airport technologies and AI models evolve.
• Master Communicator: You can explain a complex API or baggage sorting algorithm to a non-technical sales rep with ease.
