Description:You will be the Senior Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues and ensuring compliance to quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Developing and reviewing quality procedures and work instructions
• Leading root cause analysis and corrective action efforts • Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel.

Technical Engineering degree in a Technical, Industrial, or Quality Assurance related field at the Bachelor level or above.

Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.

An understanding of engineering drawing requirements and mechanical/electrical inspection methods.

Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, and Contracts that will enable development and review of Quality Engineering processes, and related Performance Metrics.

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.

Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.

An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Desired Skills:
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement associate (CQIA).

Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Demonstrated team leadership skills.

Customer Relationship Management skills.

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Effective interpersonal skills including team building and collaboration.

Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
