Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Philadelphia Design Center located in Ridley Park, PA.
The Philadelphia Design Center is focused on analyzing and supporting a wide range of Boeing products across the globe; including Vertical Lift Programs, Commercial Aircraft, Fixed Wing Fighters, Satellites, Space Launch Systems, and many others. Position Details: As a structures analysis engineer, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of Boeing Products conducting calculations to validate structural designs using a mixture of classical methods and finite element analysis.
Position Responsibilities:
Verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to develop the airframe structural environment, characteristics, and performance
Develops and uses Finite Element Models
Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the analysis effort
Ability to support occasional domestic travel to support our customers
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. (Senior-Level 4 - Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years’ experience or Master’s and 7+ years)
5+ years of experience with finite element analysis software.

Summary Pay Range: $124,100 - $167,900
