The Structural Dynamics Lab is looking for a Test & Evaluation Engineer with a strong technical background and previous test experience to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting test efforts through the whole product test lifecycle (proposal, planning, design and build, test execution, posttest activities). The types of testing conducted in the dynamics lab include acoustic, freeplay, ground vibration, modal, impact, shock, vibration, and pyrotechnic testing. Experience with suspension and/or isolation systems is a plus.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate level Test and Evaluation Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
Participates in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems
Assists in the development of test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition to perform the test within the constraints of the test plan
Develops solutions to calibration systems problems
Performs data analysis, develops and utilizes data processing tools
Designs simple component level hardware or software
Uses analytical tools to verify the design
Verifies collection of complete data set
Maintains test logs, prepares simple test reports and archives data
Works under direct supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 2: 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range for entry-level: $68,000-$92,000
Summary pay range for associate level: $79,900-$108,100
