Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P / Aviation Maintenance)We are seeking experienced aviation maintenance professionals to join a growing MRO team in Windsor Locks, CT. This role supports heavy maintenance, aircraft modifications, and upgrades across multiple aircraft platforms, including Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, DC, and MD. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to convert to a direct position after 4 months.
Compensation & Benefits• Hourly Rate: $30.00/hour
• Annual Earnings: Approximately $70,000.00–$80,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime
• Per Diem: Up to $27,040.00 annually (tax-free), based on $520.00/week
Work Schedule• 5/8 Schedule
• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities• Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, modifications, and upgrades
• Work across multiple aircraft platforms in an MRO environment
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards
• Accurately document completed maintenance actions
Qualifications• Prior experience in heavy maintenance or MRO environments preferred
• Experience on Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, DC, or MD aircraft is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Seeking long-term employment with growth potential
Additional Details 5/8 work schedule (consistent overtime available)
6-week training course to obtain A&P license
4-month contract-to-direct hire opportunity
