Job Title: A&P Mechanic - Gulfstream Jet ExperienceJob Description
This position is a contract-to-hire or direct placement opportunity for an A&P Mechanic with a focus on Gulfstream aircraft. Candidates with three or more years of experience and an A&P license are encouraged to apply. Experience with other corporate aircraft backgrounds may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan-powered aircraft.
- Remove and re-install engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
- Conduct operational checks and engine runs to ensure air-worthiness prior to departure.
- Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals.
- Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as required, including hydraulics and landing gear.
- Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
- Complete Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
- Read and interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Analyze mechanical problems and determine the cause and best method of repair.
- Test, repair, and adjust engines, engine controls, accessories, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, flight controls, and rigging.
- Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
Essential Skills- Authorization to work in the US.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid FAA approved Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work outside in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Factory authorized training on assigned aircraft preferred.
- Experience with corporate aircraft such as Falcon, Citation, Hawker.
- Must own personal tools.

Work Environment
The work is conducted at a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Augusta. The environment may require working in varying weather conditions and involves physical activities such as bending, stretching, crawling, and climbing ladders.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
