Position: A&P Mechanic (Corporate)

Pay: $48/hr - $55/hr

Description

• Perform troubleshooting on Citation jets, including inspections, repairs, and modifications. Non-scheduled maintenance on the fleet of 22 aircrafts.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies. Ideally looking for someone with strong Avionics experience.

- Installing and testing complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft

• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft are airworthy and compliant with all regulations.

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

• Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques, FAA regulations, and manufacturer service bulletins.

• Respond to aircraft on ground (AOG) situations to provide timely and effective repairs.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of corporate jet maintenance experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call situations as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

*Must have Corporate Jet experience, ideally Citations, half the fleet is CJ-3s

* FAA A&P License

* Part 135 experience

* 3-5 years of experience

* Cessna Citation experience

* Based on ability to allocating training, at times, experience with one or more of the following will be accepted: Military, Commercial, Corporate, MRO, General Aviation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakland, CA.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
