• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Aircraft Inspector to lead our inspection and quality control operations.
• This role is responsible for coordinating, executing, and overseeing all inspection functions—both on and off the aircraft—ensuring that every maintenance activity meets stringent regulatory and quality standards.
• The successful candidate will be well-versed in maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations, and inspection methods and tools used to verify that aircraft and components comply with airworthiness standards.

• Valid A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) license.
• Minimum 10 years experience in aircraft inspection.
• Strong proficiency in quality control, quality inspection, and airframe maintenance.
• Long-term commitment with previous sustained roles preferred.
• IA certification is a plus.

• Regulatory Compliance
  • Evaluate off-site maintenance work for adherence to repair station manuals.
  • Report findings directly to the Chief Inspector.
  • Verify that maintenance tasks fall within the repair station’s certificate authority.
  • Maintain up-to-date regulatory documentation (CFR, Advisory Circulars, Type Certificates, etc.) and ensure continuous compliance with FAA guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.
• Auditing & Inspection
  • Audit inspection and maintenance records.
  • Develop and maintain audit schedules with timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly labeled, maintained, and calibrated.
  • Oversee field inspections during various repair operations (teardown, overhaul, repair), and determine the disposition of non-compliant items.
• Operations & Reporting
  • Manage the contract maintenance provider program in coordination with the FAA.
  • Oversee proper documentation and traceability of aircraft parts.
  • Assist with timely reporting of failures, malfunctions, or defects, and compile data for incident and SMS reports.
• Training Support
  • Collaborate with training liaisons to assess employee training needs and ensure personnel are qualified before assignment.
• Additional Duties
  • Support leadership communication with Fleet Managers, DOM, VP of Maintenance, and other key personnel.
  • Attend weekly quality and maintenance meetings and perform additional tasks as needed.

• Expert Level

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
