Job Description
This role involves performing heavy structural repairs, maintenance, and modifications on F/A-18 Aircraft. The job requires expertise in using carbide drills and piloted reamers for Composite and Titanium drilling, and high-speed steel and Cobalt drills for Aluminum.
Responsibilities
- Conduct heavy structural repairs and maintenance on F/A-18 Aircraft.
- Execute modifications on aircraft structures, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Utilize carbide drills and piloted reamers for precise drilling on Composite and Titanium materials.
- Employ high-speed steel and Cobalt drills for Aluminum modifications.
- Perform depot-level maintenance and equipment overhauls.
- Implement corrosion control measures on aircraft structures.
Essential Skills
- 3 - 8+ years of experience in depot-level or heavy checks on aircraft.
- Proficiency in structural repairs and modifications.
- Experience with sheet metal modifications.
- Knowledge of aircraft heavy maintenance procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with military jets such as F/A-18F, F-18, and Super Hornet.
- Background in working with the Air Force, Navy, or Marines.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled, open-bay environment. Flexibility to work on either 1st Shift from 5:30am-2:30pm or 2nd Shift from 2pm-10:30pm, with optional overtime. Employees can expense $100 per year for Steel Toed Shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
