Inspector M/F

Job Description:

To inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to a serviceable condition with the minimal repairs necessary in accordance with the approved maintenance data.

Job Requirements:

•\tAn Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent ideally gained in the aerospace sector
•\tIndividuals with a background in working with aircraft components
•\tConfident communicator, amongst team members and with other business areas
•\tIT literate and able to learn new systems with ease
•\tSound mathematical skills and a good problem solver
•\tFlexible in approach, willing to take on new responsibilities and you will have a “can do” attitude
•\tAn understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5s principles
•\tInvolvement in continuous improvement activities to reduce shop processing times and manufacturing hours
