Position Summary
The Parker Hannifin Autoclave facility in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Maintenance associate to work on machine repairs, improvement projects, and other various assignments plant-wide both indoors and outdoors.
- Machine Maintenance- Mechanical and Electrical
- Building Maintenance- Structural, Electrical and Plumbing
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on Building and Equipment
- Troubleshoot Problems – Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Manage monthly statement expense
- Other duties assigned by management
- Ensure a safe work environment
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing periodic maintenance and calibration on complex electrical and electromechanical systems as well as troubleshooting CNC machine malfunctions to determine root cause. It would further include conducting electrical maintenance and basic mechanical repair of metal working machines closely following electrical code and blueprints. Additionally, the position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the facility, responding to and resolving work order requests, and working as part of a team to accomplish daily goals.
- Maintenance/Electrical/Troubleshooting Experience in a manufacturing environment
- PLC Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot Computer Numerical Controls (CNC)
- Able to read and understand schematics (Mechanical, Electrical-480 volts, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics)
- The skills and abilities to perform the job with little Supervision
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lb
- Carpentry and welding experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and e-mail
- Must be able to successfully pass forklift training
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Either five years general or two years specific Mechanical/Electrical maintenance experience
- 2 Year Degree/Certificate from a Maintenance/Electrical program preferred
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule depending upon business needs. Some overtime may be required.
