You will be the Mechanical Design Lead for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program team. Our team is responsible for supporting mechanical product development on the PrSM Increment 2, driving innovation and excellence in missile development.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing hardware configuration item drawings, associated lists, and processing data releases in the Digital Product Lifecycle Management (dPLM) tool. You will play a key role in resolving complex design issues and driving the development of mechanical products.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Leading a team of engineers in mechanical product development
•Creating and releasing engineering documents, including drawings and assembly parts lists
•Utilizing CREO solid modeling software and standard Microsoft Office tools
•Performing tolerance analyses and providing support to Production Planning, Operations, testing, and Global Supply Chain
•Developing and releasing solid models, Model Based Design (MBD), and other engineering release documents

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Fluent in PTC Creo and Windchill
Experienced with GD&T
Experience working with Ops, Quality, Test and Global Supply Chain
Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with Team and Project leadership
Control Account Management experience
Experience with Model Based enterprise / definition
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
