About the role
Qatar Airways Holidays is recruiting for an Account Manager role to be part of their dynamic team.
As Account Manager, you will retain, develop and grow the relationship and business activity of key strategic accounts. You will be responsible for representation and promotion of full range of company products and ensuring business retention and customer satisfaction level. You will provide a personalized and pro-active service through liaison and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the network. You will ensure delivery of exceptional quality service, achieve target revenue, volume quotients and the delivery of the key accounts objectives.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
Operational
- Establish and maintain productive while maintaining close working relationships with all key decision makers with the assigned accounts as well as key internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of (Qatar Airways Holidays) QRH sales strategy to maximize short and long-term revenue opportunities and reduce cost of sale.
- Acquire sales leads and increase awareness of QRH products.
- Ensure business retention and customer satisfaction levels by providing a personalized and pro-active service through liaison and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the network.
- Review Qatar Airways and QR Holidays sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek tactical opportunities.
- Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports and update the trade and corporate houses about QRHs products and services.
- Provide management with any spanet intelligence on the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of QRH, events and recommend desired changes, with proper justification.
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
- Oversee assigned accounts entire operations with Qatar Airways Holidays, ensuring efficient booking procedures and coordination with various suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at the trade exhibitions and events as and when required.
- Develop and maintain good relations with Travel Trade, Government, embassies and Commercial Houses.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails, visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- For candidate with High School Qualification, you must have minimum 4 years of job-related experience or if you are a bachelors degree graduate or Equivalent, you are required to have a minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
- Relevant experience in Airlines, Travel and Tours with strong background in Tour management, MICE, Events and holiday/ tour management.
- Knowledge of GDS system, ticketing, holidays and selling experience is required.
- You must have strong knowledge of GCC and Qatar spanet.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Relevant experience in negotiating contracts, Airlines sales and spaneting.
- Excellent command of English language. Confident and effective communicator
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a strong organizational, administrative and relationship building skills.
- Excellent time management skills and able to manage time/ priorities and to work on multiple assignments and challenging targets.
