Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and database technologies across hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing data in cloud environments, with hands-on knowledge of AWS data services.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, metadata standards, and compliance.
- Familiarity with laboratory data systems (i.e., LIMS) and their integration into broader ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align data strategy with scientific, technical, and operational needs.
- Ability to develop and execute a data strategy that supports business objectives, with a forward-thinking approach to leverage emerging data technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI, if required
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information technology, or a related field. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data management, data strategy, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading data initiatives and managing data projects.
- Relevant certification such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), or equivalent.
