Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in materials management, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing inventory control, procurement, logistics, and cross-functional team operations.
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid driver’s license required.
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to perform duties beyond those listed, as needed by department management.
- Willingness to work under variable conditions, including multiple shifts or irregular hours, depending on operational needs.
Work Environment
Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, flightline, and Avionics Shop
Potential Hazards: Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, electrical charges and radar waves, hazardous materials, moving machinery
Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment
SMS Requirements
- Employees must perform duties in accordance with company policies and government regulations to preserve life and resources
- Participate in safety education programs and learn how to recognize and report hazards
- Employees must report errors, incidents, and accidents honestly as a condition of employment
- Employees should report unsafe conditions or take reasonable corrective action, then notify a supervisor
- In case of accidents/incidents, the first employee to observe must alert responders/supervisors and take steps to prevent further injury or damage
