JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Management Office Manager (PMO Manager) plans, organizes and manages staff and overall operations to ensure transformation success. This role leads all program, project, and process management initiatives for the Little Rock plant business process transformation, defines and maintains process standards by providing a framework to establish standard performance measures based on organizational goals and objectives, and provides tools and procedures to achieve this goal.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or Engineering, or a related area. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education 2 years of experience.
  • Eight (8) years of project/program management experience in industrial operations or technology environment
  • Active PMP® or PgMP® credential holder
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives to conclusion through experience in cross-functional program and project management
  • Experience building and leading teams of 10+ to manage multiple program and project tracks in parallel
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment
  • Proven data-driven mindset and ability to turn information into clear recommendations
  • Foster a collaborative working environment and forge meaningful working relationships that drive a high-performance culture

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of industrial process management
  • Ability to understand both technical and business requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typical office and manufacturing environments. Must be able to work for long periods at a computer terminal. Cannot be sensitive to manufacturing noise. Travel by surface and air, including international, may be required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Responsible for the process transformation project and program portfolio for the Little Rock plant
  • Provide proper project and program status visibility to management per PMO processes
  • Create and maintain the Project Management Office processes and related documentation
  • Ensure project management standards and processes are followed within the Little Rock organization.
  • Collaborate with the Business Process Architect to define the 5 and 10 years business transformation roadmaps and the detailed business transformation 1-year plan, in alignment with the Business Transformation and Integration Senior Manager
  • Provide guidance and expertise for project management of the PMO group and of delegated projects
  • Develop a team of competent project and program managers through training and mentoring
  • Work in close relationship with the Communications Specialist to provide communication on the business transformation plans, roadmaps and projects to the Little Rock plant
  • Manage the PMO group, including hiring, terminating, evaluating the performance of and approving leave for PMO employees
  • Manage the training plan for the PMO group and work in close collaboration with Training & Development to increase project management knowledge throughout the plant
  • Conduct performance reviews and hold employees accountable for optimal performance of their responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Process Architect on transformation efforts identification, scoping and prioritization
  • Leverage projects results and lessons learned to other programs and projects

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position typically falls between $95,000 and $125,000. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
