Job Description:

This position will act as the responsible payroll manager for all payroll related matters in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and potentially for other regions, e.g. Asia / Australia upon demand and report to the Manager, HR in Frankfurt, Germany.

Responsibilities:

    Manage payroll for Germany, Switzerland and Austria.Administrate new hires and exits in ADP systems. Main contact for ADP and external payroll providers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. First point of contact for all employee requests related to payroll.Manage co-operation and communication with social security organizations, tax authorities and unemployment agencies.Manage all administrative issues related to payroll (e.g. SV.net requests, A1 requests, sick child reports, taxation reports for ID flights and Shine points).Co-ordinate administration of AC child allowance (e.g. certificates).Follow up on special payments (e.g. sick leave contribution, jubilee, allowances).Handle garnishment payments and communication with 3rd parties.Prepare relevant payroll reports for Finance departments in London and Headquarter and deal with appropriate correspondence (e.g. payroll registers, coding boxes, credit notes).Annual reporting of salaries to insolvency insurances (e.g. PSVaG). Handling of work certificates for unemployment agency.Lead all administrative issues related to pension and group life insurances incl. communication with insurances and HQ departments.Manage all retiree related issues (e.g. new pensioner set-up, pension indexation, yearly pension information for retirees for German tax authorities, obtain and send life certificates to pension fund for each AC/CP retiree).Lead implementation of new payroll system in countries of scope (e.g. Austria).Assist with implementation of ADP Workforce Manager incl. testing and trouble shooting.Liaise with company Auditors and external Auditors.Produce and extract reports from payroll system.Handle governmental statistics. Support other payroll related projects.
Qualifications

    University degree or Apprenticeship in the field of payroll accounting or comparable economic education.Minimum 5 years´ experience in the field of payroll accounting in Germany.  Experience with ADP is an asset.Very good knowledge of HR practices and processes.Good organizational and interpersonal skills.Strong sense of respect for confidentiality.Strong team player.Able to work under pressure, unsupervised and use own initiative.Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Fluent in German and English, French is an asset.
