You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Program. Our team is responsible for managing key procurement processes, from proposals to contract setup, supplier performance, and cost management.



What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Staff, you will be responsible for managing subcontractor cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the procurement cycle runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Managing the procurement cycle from proposal to payment
•Coordinating with operations and production to set priorities and timelines
•Negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers
•Managing supplier relationships and performance issues
•Controlling costs and performing price analysis
•Maintaining accurate purchasing documents and data
•Travel is required twice per quarter

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/ combined education.
•Must have availability to obtain a security clearance
•Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR/DFAR
•Working Knowledge of contract types
•Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Detail and teamwork oriented organizational skills
•Strong Interpersonal skills
•Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and communication)
•Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Skills:
•Experience managing complex subcontracts
•Experience with procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the defense industry
•Experience with Procure to Pay and SC Navigator
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
