The incumbent is responsible for the follow-up, analysis, and management of files related to attendance, absences, occupational injuries (CNESST), and gradual return-to-work programs. The role acts as a key resource for employees, managers, and internal partners, while ensuring compliance with collective agreements, internal policies, and legal requirements.
Responsabilities
- Ensure daily follow-up of attendance, absence, and leave files (illness, disability, and other authorized leaves) and act as a resource for supervisory teams.
- Analyze absenteeism trends and provide recommendations for corrective or preventive actions.
- Apply corporate policies and provisions outlined in collective agreements.
- Meet with employees, as needed, to discuss their attendance files and provide appropriate support.
- Manage occupational injury files in compliance with CNESST requirements and ensure required follow-ups with all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and monitor gradual return-to-work programs and workplace accommodations, whether temporary or permanent, based on individual situations.
- Act as a resource person and advisor to managers and supervisory teams.
- Work closely with Human Resources, Health and Safety teams, and union representatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and practices.
- Maintain employee files up to date and ensure the confidentiality of information.
- Produce reports, statistics, and performance indicators related to attendance and CNESST files.
- Perform any other related duties required to support operational effectiveness.
