Hiring for CNC Machinist in Haverhill, MA paying $35 to $42 per hour Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift CNC Machinist. The primary responsibility of this role is to troubleshoot and introduce new products and programs, including setting up and checking for tool and fixture clearance, reviewing new programs to avoid machine crashes, and ensuring proper touch offs and mistake prevention.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and programs.
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
- Lead and direct the work of others and serve as a qualified trainer (on skills matrix).
- Follow 6S guidelines in the work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience in CNC, mechanical troubleshooting, and machine operating.
- Experience in aerospace machining.
- 5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to perform within tight tolerances and work within already established parameters.
- Experience with tolerances of +/- .001.
- Proficiency in using and understanding a variety of gages, including bore gages, pitch mics, and indicators for setting and establishing work offsets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mill/turns is a plus.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced technologies and equipment. Engage in collaborative projects with the engineering department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision. There are openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift runs Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm or 6am to 4pm, while the 2nd shift runs from 4pm to 12:30am or 4pm to 2am for overtime hours. Enjoy overtime opportunities on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
