Aerospace Deburr Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled technician with experience in interpreting shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in using precision measuring instruments and powered hand tools. Experience in aerospace manufacturing is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments including mics and calipers.
- Operate powered electric and/or pneumatic hand tools such as grinders and sanders.
- Perform tasks repeatedly with acute attention to detail.
- Operate grinders and similar tools to remove burrs and polish surfaces.
- Work in compliance with prints and written specifications, selecting appropriate methods and tools.
- Operate tumblers and manage tumbler hopper loading and unloading as needed.
- Maintain regular on-site attendance at the workplace.
Essential Skills- Experience with sheet metal, deburring, grinding, and sanding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and powered tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 1-50 lbs frequently.
- Capability to squat, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach overhead frequently.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day.
- Comfortable working in a 55-85 degree Fahrenheit environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment where you may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The work schedule is a day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Protective equipment such as hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
