Role PurposeResponsible for developing a feasible Seasonal Operating Plan (ARP) and Annual Business Plan (ABP) based on Network and Strategy inputs, while meeting both commercial and operational requirements.
Key Accountability- Develop flight schedules for the Annual Business Plan, IATA Summer/Winter seasons, and mid-season changes for MAB, FY, MW, and AMAL.
- Plan schedules with a seasonality and P&L-driven approach, deploying the right aircraft type for peak/off-peak periods.
- Recommend frequency and aircraft adjustments to improve utilization, revenue performance, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the scheduling system (NPSS), including station parameters, block times, and regulatory updates.
- Support the team in securing domestic and international airport slots.
- Assist with seasonal submissions and regulatory requirements.
- Review MH/FY hub connectivity and identify opportunities to enhance connections, reduce misconnects, and grow transit traffic.
- Conduct schedule evaluations and scenario modelling to support long-term network strategy and commercial planning.
- Ensure full compliance with aircraft maintenance requirements, operational constraints, and regulatory limitations.
Qualifications & Working Experience- Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised higher institution with at least 2 years of related experience, or
- Diploma/STPM or equivalent with at least 5 years of related working experience.
- 1 -2 minimum years of experience.
Areas of Experience- Flight Operation, Commercial, Airport Services and Engineering Planning.
Personality Traits- Skills in network scheduling and design (advantageous).
- Highly analytical, meticulous, strong problem-solving ability, persistent (strong negotiator), and IT proficient.
- Deep knowledge of scheduling ground rules, operational constraints, aircraft performance, spanet share, and traffic performance.
- Competent in report writing and presentation.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently.
