This summer intern position will be a member of the Transformative Engagement Solutions team supporting our PMO and Agile Execution Portfolio manager creating processes and tools that improve how we work across the organization.

The selected individual will utilize their strategic planning skills to help increase efficiencies across the organization. This internship will require a blend of leadership, community engagement, and teamwork, highlighting versatility and ability to contribute in various roles. Individual must be able to work in a highly integrated team environment and be willing to learn new skills and technologies to meet the changing customer needs.

This position has the possibility to extend assignment into the academic year at fewer hours.

You must be a US Citizen to qualify for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Business Management or related

Academic exp in supply chain management

Ability to work collaboratively with team members, demonstrated by project experience

Demonstrated leadership experience (sports or academic)

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

Ability to work onsite at Herndon facility

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize requirements, and meet deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
