As a Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to eligible staff members and their dependants. The role emphasizes routine health surveillance, pre-employment medical examinations, effective management of chronic conditions and health promotion activities. The nurse will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to address any healthcare needs of patients, ensure staff meet fitness standards and appropriately refer patients to medical teams for further evaluation. Additionally, the nurse must be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services as needed ensuring the safety and wellbeing.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct pre-employment and periodic health evaluations for aviation and engineering personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work closely with management, safety officers, and other healthcare professionals to address health concerns and promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patients assessments and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the doctor and monitor patient responses.
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for patients experiencing medical emergencies or trauma situations.
- Collaborate with emergency response teams to deliver essential nursing care to patients, prior to their transfer for more advanced treatment.
- Conduct health assessments, administer vaccinations, perform health screenings, and manage chronic conditions in a practice setting.
- Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care for patients in both emergency and routine contexts.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Work alongside healthcare professionals, emergency services, to ensure coordinated responses to emergencies and effective patient care.
