Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Site Superintendent to manage the transition of new and upgraded sites from construction handoff to operational readiness. This role involves leading a team responsible for site launches for an autonomous drone delivery service in Houston. You will verify construction quality, install and integrate systems, deploy new technologies, and ensure infrastructure reliability. As a key stakeholder, you will oversee the site build process from quality control to commissioning and closeout, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4 technicians in charge of site launches.
- Verify construction quality and ensure infrastructure reliability.
- Install and integrate systems and deploy new technologies.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
- Monitor progress of new site builds, adjusting schedules and resources as needed.
- Manage construction handoffs to ensure quality, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Lead installation and configuration of power, data, security, and other critical infrastructure systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and zoning regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain complete documentation.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of site superintendent experience.
- 5+ years in site commissioning, infrastructure installation, or systems integration.
- Strong electrical experience with a journeyman license.
- Experience with industrial projects.
- Ability to travel across the greater Houston area and 10-20 nationwide.
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with data center or technology-focused industrial projects.
- Experience with vertical infrastructure such as towers or telecommunications structures.
- Prior experience with aviation, aerospace, or drone-related construction projects.
- Experience in renewable energy or electric vehicle charging stations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- PMP or equivalent certifications.

Work Environment
Work on job sites across Houston with a home base in NW Houston. Expect to travel to Dallas and California 10-20 of the time for training. Initial training will take place in Dallas for the first 2-3 weeks. The work schedule starts at 7 am, with 40-50 hours per week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
