We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity as a Cargo Sales Executive. This role is in the Qatar Airways United Kingdom and Ireland Cargo Team based at our office in Heathrow.
The successful candidate will play an important role in developing strong working relationships with our customers, ensuring regular and proactive contact to drive increased volumes and new business opportunities.
The role:
• Contribute towards meeting and exceeding revenue and tonnage targets.
• Plan and co-ordinate the day to day activities of the Internal Sales Team.
• Create awareness of QR Cargo products and services among existing and potential customers.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and identify opportunities for growth on key lanes and accounts
• Work closely with Pricing teams to secure competitive spot and tariff rates.
• Analyse data and keep up-to-date with industry trends, spanet conditions, and competitor activities to track pricing trends and identify opportunities.
• Accurately maintain account data in the CRM tool and record opportunities and activity
• Support QR digitalization and innovation initiatives
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts for management
• Provide coaching and support to Inside Sales Agents to enhance their performance

Qualifications
About you
• Minimum of a High School Qualification; Higher education preferred
• Job-related experience in the airline or the freight forwarding industry.
• Proven experience in Cargo Sales is essential; Inside Sales preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience of building effective relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Ability to analyse data to spot trends and proactively identify new business opportunities
• Team player, high degree of initiative and motivation
• Detail-orientated and organized with experience of supervising a team
