How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Sales Account Executive in Bogota, Colombia will be responsible for the portfolio sales activities implementing and developing of the Delta/Latam JV sales initiatives.Primary responsibilities include:Interacts closely with Latam’s commercial sales team to develop and execute upon a comprehensive sales strategy and supportingBuilding, maintaining, and managing JV agency and/or corporate relationships at all levels with-in the account. Mine existing accounts for new business JV opportunitiesJointly/Collaboratively negotiate, close and implement agreement renewals Joint Performance analysis for maintenance of JV agreements and growth of revenue, Fair Market Share, margin with key customer interfacesProspect and secure new JV and No JV businessIn collaboration with Region Sales manager develop and implement JV sales and account strategies based on the Sales revenue planEvaluate and report results and competitive developmentsCooperate with corporate and /or agency Sales Development in executing of sales strategies and programsFacilitates appropriate corrective action to address account underperformanceActs on behalf of customer and Delta/Latam within respective organizations in communication and execution of sales strategies and programsCreates activity reports for manager to document activities, actions, and resultsWill have a coordinator role with the sales team and undertake a leading role in spaneting activities developing ad-hoc sales material, consumer, and trade activities, leveraging Delta and LATAM mutual Loyalty programs benefitsOptimally deploy targeted joint sales programs and tools to exceed territory performance targets both in revenue and spanet share.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Must have current work authorization to live/work in Bogota, Colombia at the time of application. Delta does not sponsor.Must be fluent in both Spanish and English 3 + years industry experience Candidate should possess a strong orientation towards sales and understand how to create and maintain profitable business relationships with assigned accounts. Demonstrate aptitude for strong interpersonal relationships and business decision making skills.Must be able to manage change with resilience and display tremendous drive and commitment. Candidate must possess strong skills in written and verbal communications in Spanish and English, data analysis, negotiation, time management, organization, planning, and presentation skills. Ability to understand basic sales reports, identify opportunities inside those sales reports, prioritize based on value and develop and execute plans to achieve opportunities. Demonstrate leadership skills and must possess the ability to disseminate information professionally according to Delta values. Must demonstrate high proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Prefer knowledge of Deltas Reservation System. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
