How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Thank you for your interest in our Senior Sales Account Executive opportunity located in Seattle.The Senior Sales Account Executive is responsible for maximizing revenues and spanet share in Delta’s coastal hub, Seattle, and the greater Seattle area, focusing on premium revenue with Delta’s key travel agency and/or corporate accounts. Primary responsibilities may include but not be limited to: building, maintaining, and managing agency and/or corporate relationships, onboarding new corporate sales agreements, contract and/or program negotiation and implementation, project management, account performance evaluation, adding points of sale globally, and maintenance of agreements with key customer interfaces. This position also requires taking the lead in expanding partnerships with community organizations and leaders. Must reside in the Seattle area and will report to the Sales Manager. This role is primarily in-person from Monday to Friday.The primary position objective includes the accountable and successful portfolio performance as measured by revenue growth, fair spanet share, margin, and volume metrics.Primary responsibilities include: Deepening customer relationship management, proficiency in leading contract negotiation, developing and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives to drive spanet share and contract performance for all assigned accounts. The incumbent performs detailed analysis of data to determine opportunities and develop unique and customized strategies to drive revenue and performance. The Sr. Sales Account Executive orchestrates team selling with internal departments, including Corporate and Agency Sales Development, Revenue Management, Sales Operations, Market Development, and Global Sales Support. This position is responsible for delivering sales value propositions alongside subject matter experts for ancillary offerings such as charter sales, private jets, sustainability, online booking tools, and Cargo. The incumbent will have some responsibility for new business development and B2C spanet engagement events & initiatives. The position requires domestic and international travel and some night and weekend hours.
